☀️Feels like
SUMMER☀️
We’re very excited to welcome Alex James Ellison as our official new choir director. He’s got some great songs in store for us and we can’t wait to continue our new chapter with him at the helm!
Summer Term Rehearsal Dates
May: 6 (social), 13, 20, 24 (race 4 life), 27 (AGM)
June: 3 (social), 10, 17, 24
July: 1 (St. Peter’s), 8 (photograph day!), 15 (final session of the year)
Our next performance is on Saturday 24th May at the Race for Life on Clapham Common. Keep an eye on emails for full details on set list, timings & uniform!
Please also note that our 1st July rehearsal will be moved to St. Peter’s Church in Clapham, just off the high street, near to CC tube station. This is due to a prior booking at the Omnibus. But we’ll have a piano, great tunes & all the same fun as always ☺️.
Love to sing?
Why not
join in?!
We’re currently accepting new Tenors and Basses** for our waitlist so please get in touch if you sing one of these parts and would like to be part of our fabulous group of singers (if we do say so ourselves!).
Right now we’re rehearsing some fantastic songs such as Pink Pony Club, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Good Riddance, California Dreamin’ and more in store!
**Unfortunately we don’t have any spots right now for Sopranos and Altos. But please keep an eye out on the website for updates and we’ll let you know when there’s availability.
Please do also get in touch about upcoming performances or potential collaborations. We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to book the choir to sing at your event.

Collaborations
Last July, we teamed up with Croydon Voices for a special concert in Fairfield Halls. The event was a huge success, and we loved being able to sing all together as an even bigger group.
We’ve also previously collaborated with Sing Tower Hamlets as part of our mission to keep the community singing throughout the covid crisis. We came together to do a virtual performance of ‘You’ve Got A Friend’ by the fabulous Carole King (which you can have a listen to above!).
Plus, we recorded our own version of ‘A Keelie Makolay’ – an uplifting Ghanaian folk song.
